Custom furniture and wall units built in the workshop and fitted on site, from wardrobes to media units. This project is in progress, and the photo shows a unit being assembled on the workshop bench.
What the project involves
- Drawings. Each unit is drawn to the room’s measurements, with internal layouts and hardware marked.
- Cutting and assembly. Panels are cut accurately and assembled on the bench, where joints and alignment can be checked before the unit reaches the house.
- Finishing. Surfaces are finished with laminate, veneer or polish, as the design requires.
- Fitting. Units are fixed and levelled on site, and every door and drawer is adjusted.
Why we build in a workshop
Building in a workshop gives cleaner joints, better finishes and much less dust and noise at your home. Only fitting and final adjustments happen on site, which also shortens the time workers need to be in your house.
Hardware and detail
Hinges, channels and handles decide how a unit feels long after it is installed. We name the hardware in the quotation and fit it carefully, with doors aligned and drawers running smoothly.
