Tiles look simple until the floor is down. Then every shortcut shows: a lipped joint, a hollow tile that rings under a heel, a slope that sends bathroom water the wrong way. iSquare installs tiles for floors, walls, bathrooms, kitchens, balconies and outdoor areas, and the work is planned around levels and layout before any adhesive is mixed.
All tiles, all surfaces
- Floors. Vitrified, ceramic, porcelain and large-format tiles for living areas, bedrooms, corridors and commercial floors.
- Walls. Bathroom, kitchen and feature wall tiles, including tall vertical formats and mosaic backsplashes.
- Bathrooms and kitchens. Falls for drainage, waterproofing checks, neat cuts around fittings and clean corners.
- Outdoor and wet areas. Anti-skid tiles for balconies, terraces, parking and steps.
- Renovation. Removing damaged or outdated tiles and re-laying a new finish.
What good tile work involves
The base is checked and levelled first. We set out the layout from the room’s centre or the most visible line so cuts fall in the least noticeable places, then lay with the right adhesive for the tile size and the surface. Large-format tiles need a flat base and full adhesive coverage, so we check both as we go. Joints are kept straight and even, taped where needed to protect them, and finished once the adhesive has cured.
Finishing and care
Grout and cleaning are part of the job, not an afterthought. Where the floor is stone rather than tile, see our stone work and diamond and silicate polish pages. For ceilings and lighting that go above the same rooms, see false ceiling and lighting.
